Alternator delivering 14.5v to the battery BUT when the coolings fans come on drops steadily to under 12v which drains battery. Left side fan is about 14A draw, oil cooler fan R side is about 6A, right side cooling fan does not come on at all. Checked with external battery and fan runs fine. Replaced R side fuse and relay for fan, still doesn't come on.

Alt should be able to handle 14amp load so a load test of ALT will determine if needs replacement. As for oil coller fan it come on when oil temp reaches a predetermined temp so maybe faulty oil temp sender or oil not hot enough to trip fan

Alternator was recently rebuilt and battery is new. Voltage to battery is fine before and after cooling fan comes on. The right side fan does not come on with the other, (they should) but an external battery runs that fan just fine. With new relat for R side and fuse fine, where is the problem?
