I have a 1995 2500 cummims and it doesnt seem to be going in over drive. It will go into second gear but wont shift after that.

Check the cable from the throttle body to the left side of the transmission to see if it's sticking.

I would suggest starting by checking for trouble codes. It could be a control problem or an internal fault.
