with key in the "ON" position, all lights and gauges work, but when I turn the key to "start" everything goes dead. I checked all Battery connections, used a volt meter to check voltage at starter, (12.5vdc) and tested all accessible connections, found none with a problem. I tried to bypass ignition and starter relays by running a wire from the positive battery terminal to the small starter wire to energize the solenoid, and got nothing except a small spark at the Battery, which seemed to suggest that wire is grounded some how. please help, I have class on monday, and just need this thing to start at least once so I can get it to a shop.
