How do you tell if a wate r pump.

When a water pump goes bad, a few things can happen. The most common problem is the pump will leak coolant from the weep hole. The weep hole is on the water pump, lower side. Also, the bearing can make noise. To check that, you need to remove the belt and see if there is play in the pulley.
