Chevrolet Silverado Engine Problem

I've been trying to get the heater working, so far I've replaced the heater core, thermostat and control panel on the dash. I've checked the blend door and made sure the servo was working properly. Yesterday I took off the heater hoses and started the engine. There is only a drip coming out of the hose coming into the core. The hose seems to be ok on the inside, any ideas?

Something in the engine block has to be blocked. Try flushing the engine block cooling system.
