Gasket seal

Replaced water pump gasket seal failed because I think did not allow enough time to cure in the chilly outdoor temps, can I allow more time or does the job need to be redone

The gasket is made of paper. It shouldn't require any time to seal. Did you properly torque it? Also, using a straight edge, make sure nothing is warped.
