Car would not shift from low, now it seems to be fine could a fusable link be operating intermitantly?

the lumina has a electrical assit engine doesnt it

The fusible links has nothing to due with the transmission operation-check the transmission fluid level and condition if okay take it to a transmission specialist and have it further checked-
