blowing cold air put theremostate in started to blow warm after 5 min temp guage went up to red blow cold was thinking air bubble two minutes later blowing warm check radiator and tried to burp line was full very little bubbles blew warm air now friend tells me it is blowing cold full time ? what am I missing ? Crappy 3100 v6 engine

Leaking head gasket. The clue is the bubbles. Air can pool under the thermostat causing it to not open. The lack of circulation causes overheating and no hot coolant through the heater core.
