Urgent, urgent, please respond I have a 95 chevy lumina with a 3100 v6 engine and im putting new heads, new head gaskets, new intake gaskets. Im wanting the torque specs for the cylinder heads, lower and upper intake gaskets. An online mechanic says that cylinder heads must be tightened in a two step sequence, first tighten each bolt to 33 ft lbs of torque, second step tighten each bolt an additional 90 degrees. I have been working on cars for a while and I would assume the heads should be torqued 75 - 100 torque lbs, I believe that the two step sequence is wrong

There was a revision in the cylinder head tightening torque and here are the specifications.

NOTE: This component uses torque-to-yield bolts. When servicing this
component, do not re-use the bolts. New torque-to-yield bolts must be installed. Re-using used torque-to-yield bolts will not provide proper bolt torque and clamp load. Failure to install NEW torque-to-yield bolts may lead to engine damage. The cylinder head bolt torque and tightening sequence have been revised. This revision has been made in the SI.

The revised specification is as follows:

Tighten the NEW cylinder head bolts to 60 N.M (44 lb ft) in the order shown. Use the J 36660-A torque angle meter in order to rotate the cylinder head bolts an additional 95 degrees.
