I changed my thermostat yesterday, because of the increase and decrease of temperature from the engine. Now the temperature will not rise and heat is very low. Is it a bad thermostat or water pump?

Id want to double check your temp gage. Do the heater hoses get hot? You may need to flush the heater core? Another possible issue is a temp door problem, under the dash.

Take the return heater hose loose from engine, bump the starter, any coolant flow? Don't start the vehicle.
