I have a 1995 Chevy Cavalier and the rear brakes are popping and grabbing. I have replaced the wheel cylinders and shoes. What would cause the popping?

Replaced the front brakes, then popping noise started. Then we replaced the rear wheel cylinders but that didn't fix the problem. Replaced the shoes and can't get the brake drum back on.

The rear brakes started poping after replacing the front brakes? If so that makes no sense when you replaced your shoes did you unscrew the star wheel adjuster all way down? Also make sure the shoes are even highet wise?
