I have a 95 caprice with a 4.3L and i wanted to know how difficult it would be to drop in a 5.7L LT1

Havent done one, but it should be doable, just make sure you are chevy motor to chevy transmission. Dont forget the new PCM!

Well from what i have researched the impala ss has the same 4l60e transmission. So i have been told i can use the same transmission. I just didnt know if it would drop right in since the are the same body style. What is the PCM?

yes it should go in and bolt up. pcm=computer. Powertrain control mudule.
