My car seems to be idling too high (even while driving) and wants to quit on me as I am driving.

It's idling too high, it doesn't want to start correctly, I replaced the fuel pump and the crank shaft sensor that helped a little bit but the problem is still there. I am getting tired of gambling for the correct fix, I want a straight shot answer so I know where to begin. If it's a possibility of 2 problems or more plz tell me.
