Where does the single black wire go coming from the ignition switch?
Theirs a single black wire coming from the ignition switch. Theirs no other wires with this single wire. I was thinking it has something to do with the vats system but really not sure. Can you guys tell me what this wire is for and where do it go?

Could it be a ground?

I've got the same thing on my 98!! Right along with the factory wiriing wrapped in electrical tape!!!

Its not a ground it should be with a white wire it runs with the factory wire harness.
