How do you remove and replace water pump on 1995 Park Avenue?

Remove or disconnect:

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Engine coolant.
3. Coolant recovery reservoir.
4. Serpentine belt.
*If more access is needed, remove inner fender electrical cover.
5. Generator and lay to side.
6. Serpentine belt tensioner pulley.
7. Pulley.
8. Bolts from coolant pump.
9. Coolant pump. Clean
*Coolant pump mating surfaces.

Install or connect:

1. Gasket and coolant pump.
2. Bolts to coolant pump. Tighten
A. Long bolts to 30 N.M (22 lb. Ft.).
B. Short bolts to 18 N.M (13 lb. Ft.).
3. Pulley. Tighten
*Bolt to 13 N.M (115 lb. In.).
4. Serpentine belt tensioner pulley.
5. Generator.
6. Serpentine belt.
7. Coolant recovery reservoir.
8. Engine coolant.
9. Negative battery cable Tighten
*Bolt to 15 N.M (11 lb. Ft.).

Inspect
*For leaks.
