Describe your problem...I have a 1995 buick lesabre. I have a coolant leak at the intake manifold, do I have to replace the upper or lower gasket or both?...does water even go through the intake manifold?

Normally Just The Top. Also, They Now Have An Updated Plenum Manifold On The market that is supposed to eliminate this problem. The Problem was the plastic on the plenum was too thin and the EGR valve was mounted right next to it, this would put too much heat on the plenum, causing a breakdown on the plenum side. The new plenums have thicker plastic now. I suggest putting on the new updated plenum & gasket as a set, online for about $65-$90. They have several out there so make sure it is listed for your Year, make & model (VIN 8th Digit)
