Volkswagen Golf Sensor Problem

I own a Golf 3 with a 2.0 engine. When i spark the car it comes on for about 3 seconds and goes off. It does this about five times before it finally stays on. While on, I notice that the engine shakes. When moving I have noticed that even when i step on the accelerator the car does not move like it ought to. I have changed the plugs, the coil, the injectors, the fuel pump, the relay and even the battery.

Spark plug wires, distributor cap & rotor?

A faulty temperature sensor can be the cause as well... re-check
all your prior work just in case. Have you checked fuel pressure &
flow rate when the problem is occurring?

MAF sensor and Throttle sensor could also be at fault... check all
ECM power wires & grounds.
