1994 Toyota Tercel Repair Question

Toyota Tercel Sensor Problem

When i press the gas pedal the car misses if i press it hard it shuts off the car.when do it very slow it picks up.please help me.

You have a hesitation , 2 thing that can cause this a ignition related , or a MAP sensor. If its the Map sensor the vacuum line may have work its way off the sensor this is located on the firewall with a vacuum line directly leading to the intake. Then there is the ignition component, a ignition coil is inside the distributor these have a tendency to crack, causing the hesitation , there is also the ignition cap, ignition rotor, and sparkplug wires, which goes into the sparkplug well of the cylinder head,
