Engine heating up water leaking from engine cant find source temp gague at high what is problem?

Cant find the source of leaking water in engine temp gague is at high not thermostat it is bone dry. Where is water pump in on engine is it situatated on side of engine any help would be much appricated

So the thermostat works both upper and lower radaitor hoses are getting too hot to touch?Also the cooling fan is coming on?You cant see any visual leaks?Have you checked the radaitor cap for not holding enough pressure?

So what temp does the fan turn on at?So is it running hot from loss of coolant?

Not sure what temp but water needs refilling to often I am only replacing with water should I be using coolant aswell

Your going to have to find that leak put some coolant dye in the coolant and get a dye light and use that to trace the leak down. You should have coolant as well as water in the cooling system. Let me know what you find.
