Toyota Camry 1994 LE Sedan

My toyota camry's engine check light turns on and after a while it turns off, then when I'm on a stoplight for a while the oil light turns on. Also I was backing off a parking spot when my steering wheel locked up and the gears were not working because I would put it on drive and it would be on neutral instead and all the lights on the dashboard flashed but I turned of the car and turned it on and the car worked fine. What may be wrong with my car.
