Just bought car,can't get reverse lights to work, could use wiring schematic !!!
Is this a common problem or do I just have to grub this out on my own?

Is this a manual transmission or automatic transmission?If its a manual transmission its most likely a bad back up light switch.Easy to test with a paper clip.

Also have you checked the back up light fuse in the underhood fuse box yet?
