Bought this van and am trouble shooting issues. Original problem. Van just shuts off when I am coming to a stop or sharp turns. Not alway but often. The last time I had to let it sit for ten minutes before it would restart. Before that i. It would start back up right away.
This is what I have replace in the last. Couple of days. Battery, coolant flush, engine flush, fuel pump, fuel filter, iac, throttle postioning sensor, air filter.I think thats it. And the problem is still their. After looking more I have found that the cluster of wires that go throughout the engine has a large whole in the casing and I see alot of bare wires. So im ready to pull my hair out I am guessing this could be apart of the problem. Can I buy the. Complete set of new wires.I have been looking for a wire harness but im not gettting any where fast and its confuzing. The exposed wires are located in the. Ack left side before the wire start branching off. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, lots of parts replaced with no success.

There are aftermarket places that make harness for all cars. They are very pricy and require someone with experience to replace them. I suggest you get an opinion from a good electrical shop before jumping into this. They may actually make the harness for you.

We are assuming this is your issue, but I think you need to start here before throwing any other parts at it that do nothing.
