My 1994 Plymouth Grand Voyager speedometer stopped working and the auto trans will not shift into a higher gear. The motor starts fine and everything else works. Can you tell me what's wrong with this van?

Probably one of the speed sensors. Without their signals the Transmission Computer won't know how fast the tires are turning and it won't know when to shift. The Check Engine light should be on too telling you there's a diagnostic fault code stored in the Transmission Computer.
