While driving, my 1994 Plymouth Voyager van reached 30 and started to slow down. The oil light came on, when I pulled to the side of the road, my van stopped. The oil light stayed on, and the van would not restart. All the lights, the wipers, and heater came on, but the engine would not turn over. We added oil let it sit, but still no turn over. The check engine light started to flash while the oil light went off. Any ideas?

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.
