Plymouth Acclaim Heater Problem
Where is the heater core located and how do you take it out

It's in the heater box behind the dash board. To remove it you have to drop the steering column and pull the dash board back, discharge the air conditioning system and disconnect the lines. Replacing it is not exactly a do-it-yourselfer project. If you have any thoughts on trying to do this yourself, don't even start until you have a copy of the manufacturer's service manual to follow. All the steps will be listed with line drawings.
