I brought it to the dealer and they said that they checked to ecu for updates and found nothing. Security light flashes when I try to start the car. So I towed it back to my house because they wanted another $300 just to diagnose the problem. Can I bring it to a regular shop to get that done instead? I read another forum that said it could be the clutch switch and relay behind the drivers side wheel that can cause the problem. Sometimes the switch doesn't "click" on when you turn over the ignition and be faulty.

Could be the clutch switch, starter relay or the starter motor itself-refer to this link for additional information: https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-engine-will-not-crank-over
