Mercedes Benz 420sel Engine Problem
Car runs good until it gets warmed up and then starts to sputter and and engine stops, will not start when hot. it will turn over and almost start, sputter, backfire and then not start. after a half hour or so when engine is cool again, engine will start right up. This is a Mercedes E420 1994.

When it won't start, check fuel pressure and for spark to the engine. It sounds like a weak fuel pump
