Rear running lights do not light up. Have visually checked fuses under dash and under hood. Turn signals and back up lights work. Dash lights for transmission position was intermittently on and off before the rear light problem. Now the dash transmission position doe not light up at all and all the other dash and interior lights are still working fine.
I have checked the #3167 bulbs ( all 4 of them) for continuity and they show fine.

What else can I check to discover why the rear running lights do not turn on.
