What should i expect to pay for a new compressor and a new freon tank for the air conditioner in atlanta, ga?
Also, if a compressor locks up, will it still blow air? How do you tell if a compressor is locked up?

blower operates independently of compressor. blower is in car while compressor is on motor under hood. where did you get idea compressor is locked up? if that happened would likely cause belt squealing noise and burning rubber smell from drive belt.
