Yesterday my car sounded like it was about to turn off when i came to a complete stop . but it didnt , i drove all the way home and at my driveway it turned off . i tried turning it on and it turned on for about 4 seconds and it sounded like it was chocki
I changed the coil on the distributor but still had the same problem , it seems like its lacking power and when i try to turn it on it just makes the noise like its gonna turn on but doesnt .

the distributors are common failures. check for spark to the plugs.
make sure it has fuel and compression as well.
