Honda Civic Radiator Problem

I am driving my car and I see more water in my over flow it go's to the top an i replaced the thermostat yesterday cause it was stuck i put my hand on the motor it didnt feel like it was over heated could my radiator be going bad or is my head gasket blown i do not see any signs of a blown head gasket yet are these warning signs its about to blow is my engine in fact over heating on the way home i noticed my cooling temperature gauge go up past half way for a couple seconds at a red light then i proceeded home it went back down half way an the car was smoking it was at night time so i think the cool air something to do with why i didnt over heat an car blow up please help me i will give you my best recollection the past three weeks in fact its been boiling coolaint going up to the of the over flow i just changed out the thermostat to see if it would stop but it has not i am out of answer an luck please help me find out what it is I just hope that its my radiator thats going bad the clutch fan does turn on its a 5 speed Manuel transmission i do see the radiator fan come on and it still gets really hot around the radiator

It only takes one good overheating to blow a head gasket in those. You really need to have it tested professionally before you do more damage than you already have. A radiator or anything else could have started the problem that developed into something more severe from driving it.
