Battery cables hooked up backwards now turns over but won't start!
Daughter hook up jumper cables backwards on her car and lost all electrical. Changed the alt 100 amp fuse under hood which was blown. Got power back, now turns over but won't start. Seems like it's not getting fuel.

You will have to check for more blown fuses and fusible links, the problem is shorting out the electrical system like this can do a fair bit of damage, hopefully the ECU has not been fried, look at the remainder of the fuses and links first, check fuel pressure to see if pump is actually engaging as well, start here.
