I have a 1994 ford ranger that turns over but wont start. my question is that when i put a timing light on the spark plug wires and seen that there was no sparks coming from any plugs, and than i looked at the distributor the distributor rotor piece was not moving at all.
So i than checked and took off the valve cover and noticed that the valves were in deed moving so would this indicate that the timing chain is still good and does this mean that i have a bad distributor and distributor rotor piece and how would i know for sure that this is a problem?
