Ford Falcon Engine Problem
Car surges on full throttle when in idle and wont rev out it feels or sounds like it has a governer on it stopping it from revving out completely it is a 4 litre petrol engine with an automatic gearbox does this model have a governer somewhere or is it the coil as i have just renewed the fuel filter and i have checked all the vacumn hoses

Do you have a check engine light and when was last tune-up? Check the fuel pressure if its within specs with a fuel pressure gauge and then comeback with the readings, so we continue to assist-
