My 1994 Ford F350 FWD pick up front right brake heats up, drags steering to right and smokes, brake pads and rotter are in good shape, what causes that?

Next time it locks up, crawl underneath and open the bleeder screw. If it does not release, replace both front calipers. If it does release, try cracking the steel line open at the master cylinder the next time it locks up. If it releases there, suspect contaminated brake fluid. Proof will be seen as the bladder seal under the reservoir cap will be blown up and mushy.

The brake hose to the caliper may also be bad and "check valving" (letting fluid in, but not letting it back out). If you crack the bleeder on the caliper, this too will "unlock" the the caliper, and the hose would need to be replaced.---Sorry Doc, Nothing much coming in at Jeep Forums, needed something to do, so I came over here! 2 weeks ago, helped my buddy on a F-150 w/ right wheel locking down.
