Truck listed above is an F150 SLT model.I went to the store yesterday and sitting at the red light behind someone my truck just shut off. Cranked but wouldn't start over. I had it towed home. And misfired what I new about plugs, plug-wires, distributor and tune up still no start. So I left it be over night. 7:30 this morning I tried to start my truck and it cranked right up like nothing ever happened but in idle or running motion idling very high. What can be the cause of these issues? No one around here has a obd1 diagnostic tool for my truck I have yet tested the EGR valve, IAC valve, mass air flow sensor, fuel regulator valve on the back of the fuel rail, fuel pump and filter brand new. Just got done replacing them. Can anyone help me figure it out?

Hello my name is Dave.

It would be very helpful if we had any codes that might be in the computer.

here is a link to our tutorial on how to retrieve the codes without a code reader:

If you can retrieve any codes and get back to us we will be happy to help you further and thank you for using 2CarPros!
