Ok as much as I hate to admit I need help. I am working on a 1994 F150 4.9 The engine idles well but when I give it throttle she bogged down and a little black smoke comes out the exhaust. Ok here where is gets interesting. I installed a new TP sensor no help, next a PCM no help, Then AIRB solenoid no help, Then AIT sensor No help, ECT sensor no help, Checked timing 10BTDC “OK” New plugs, no help I have a Dura spark EEC ignition wanted to change the stator assembly but could not find one ended up replacing the entire distributor, Cap, rotor, and wires, no help.

I tried to pull DTC codes but I could not with KOEO, I did get codes from KOER. But they are probably false codes. I do not know if the PCM has gone into HLOS mode. So out of frustration I pulled the head and had a valve job done, put it back together, The engine still Boggs down. Can some one help?

I did not check the compression because less then 200 miles ago i rebuild the lower end crank, rod, cam berrings and honed the cylnders with new standred rings.

You should check it. You have replaced just about everything.

have you checked the fuel filter? could be clogged, might allow enough gas through to idle but when you "burp" it it wont allow anymore fuel to go through
