When i put my 1994 ford explorer in drive it just sits there then i have to rev it up before it will go. After that it drives with no problems.

This is an interesting one. I would suggest having the trans fluid pressure tested. It may be too low when first started to engage a gear until you rev the engine.

I've checked the fluid and its plenty in there but wut do u mean by the fluid pressure?. A friend of mines mentioned something about a box/brain thats in the tranny and lets your vehicle know its in drive and it could be a problem with that. Are u familiar with that

Your friend is referring to a TCM, Trans Control Module. I have to be honest, I don't think they were that involved in 1994. As far as pressure, the ATF needs to have pressure to engage the transmission. If it is too low, it won't do it.

If you had it rebuilt, there could even be a problem in the valve body. You should take it back to them.

Let me know what you find.
