cars fuel pump went out and was replaced car ran for a week then started to run rough and will not idle by its self now. when you start the car it runs rough for a min with a little pressure on gas petal then stalls what do I do to fix this problem

Does it run rough when you accelerate? When you step on the gas pedal all you are doing is bringing up the idle, and it its smooth then you have a EGR problem if it is open at idle the vehicle is rough. Run the vehicle with a little pressure on the gas pedal. do this for about 3 minutes, turn off the vehicle go to the EGR and feel it. If its too hot to touch its open and a new one is the solution

try cleaning the throttleplate with choke cleaner on both sides and then scan for codes and recheck fuelpressure as type of pum may be a crappy one and failed once more. alot of us have had trouble with airtex brand
