What is the best way to remove and install the automatic bell housing bolts on a 94 sonoma 4X4 4.3. When I went to remove the engine, the previous mechanic did not install 4 of the six bolts as they are very difficult if not impossible to remove. I have to laugh at Haynes, they only say remove bell housing bolts.

Remove the driveshaft. Support the tranny with a jack. Remove the cross support. Then when you let the jack down the tranny will hang down so you can axcess those bolts with a long ext. And a swivel socket. You need to get the bolts at the boneyard.

If you are removing the engine, I take off the intake manifold and the bolts are right there to acess.
