1994 Chevrolet Other Repair Question

454 chev engine components i have a cylinder looking thing on fender wall with a wire harness on bottom and small red wire going to it. i threw a fan belt and it either cut or pulled out a small black wire from somewhere . this wire seems the same size a

thanks for the answer i do not have picture but i found out the thing (duh) is a relay no.14103304 but i can not see the plug in so do not know the wirings if the small black wire goes there or not thanks again al

If everything is working properly, let it alone. Remember the old saying, if it isn't broken, don't fix it. (lol) As far as a relay, they are not usually cylindrical.
