My 1994 Chevy Corvette seems to overheat according to the gauges, help!

The oil temp and temp gauge on my chevy corvette 1994 are acting up, they dont move from overheat? Is there a problem with the car or gauges? And both fans dont turn on, do both need to be working? Help please!

Check your oil pressure manually. It may be a bad sending unit or the wires are grounding out. If you have recently installed something you may have hit the wires and they are now grounding out causein gyour gauges to go screwy. Check yoru oil sender wire and coolant sensor wire to see if they are getting voltageor not. The coolant sensor is under the throttle body. The fan relays are on th e left radiator shroud.
