I have a 94 chevy cavalier 4 cyl 2.2. The other day i put a oil pump in , took it for a ride , everything was fine. 15 minutes later going home about a block from my house the transmission did not want to shift. I never had a problem with it before. The fluid is clean no leaks no burnt smell no odd noises.I start it , it goes in reverse and drive low1/2, it wont shift into next gear then if I keep driving it wants to slowly slip. would like to fix myself if I can I am currently out of work any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
