1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Repair Question

My blinkers quit working 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood
My blinkers started making a funny noise like there was a power short and now they don't work at all. Is there a fuse of electrical component that can easily be replaced to correct the problem? When I engage the blinker handle the side marker lights up but the blinker will not blink at all.

Check fuses first. Then, you will need to check if there is power to the switch. If there is and the switch is working properly, move to the flasher.
