First of all I just want to say that I live in Germany on a MIlitary base. I purchased this car because I really needed one. Now I ran into a major issue. As I merged into the Autobahn from an exit I put the car in fourth gear and pushed on the accelerator. The car began accelerating with an abrupt jerk and the engine died emidietly. I have plenty of gas in tank. The engine turns but will not fire. Currently my mechanic who worked on the car before cannot figure out what is going on. He tried a new fuel pump, crank/cam sensor, relays and ecm. Nothing works. Im suspecting that maybe if my car has an imobilization unit that may have triggered the car to die. At the moment we are at a loss. Please help. Thank You in advance.
