I have a base model 93 golf CL, 1.8L, It has a very rough idle and serious loss of power after the car warms up. When cold it runs perfect. I have done some research and it seems a wide range of things could cause this, ie.. Bad O2 Sensor, I have recently replaced the spark plugs and wires, I was hoping you could shed some light on this issue..Thanks in advance!

Yes, could be a number of things.

- Temperature sensor
- Ignition wires
- Distributor car & rotor
- O2 sensor
- Throttle body flange (rubber mount)
etc.

No way of knowing over the internet... find a trusted VW Shop via other VW Drivers if you don't know of one yourself. People are always
happy to share good or bad repair shop info!
