Toyota Corolla Problem
Connot retrieve mil codes light stays on i jumped te1 and e1 ign on without starting mil light stays on

You need to check the circuit of TE1 and ECU. Ensure there is continuity. If continuity is found, check the MIL circuit for shorting. The ECU would be the next to check.
