Today while driving with the radio on, wipers on, and heat on, when I put my turn signal on the radio would die, then I turned the heater off and the radio would come back on. I tested that a few more times and confirmed the correlation. There was definitely not enough power to have all of the things on at once. Although usually this is not an issue. Moments later I parked the car and turned it off. Then the car would not start when I tried immediately after shutting it off. This happened a couple months ago and I had the battery replaced with a brand new one. When the guy replaced the battery, he said he tested the alternator and that it is fine. Might it be the coil? Or what? The car is old and burns oil. I have only had it for about 6 months. Please help! Thank you.
