Spitting and Sputtering

When i give the car gas and it gets up too a higher rpm it will make the tach go crazy up down then shut off Please Help tried coil packs tried fuel filter and also if it sits a little bit it will shut off.

no check engine light.

Not all codes cause the light to come on.
