Pontiac Grand Am Trouble code Problem
Answer
You should get the fuel pressure checked and then if it is okay get the trouble codes pulled. Any Advance Auto or Auto Zone will pull trouble codes for free.
Fuel pressure is at 45 when it dies and I get no "check engine light" at all.
Even if there is no, "Check Engine Light" there can still be trouble codes. This will indicate any electrical issues that are out of spec.
Did that with no codes present.

I am going to ask around some in the mean time. The fact that it sits and starts akes me think it is something electrical that is failing slowly and you might just have to wait for it to fail compleltely beforre we can find out what it is.
At least this will eliminate a few more possibilities.
